Alpine cheesery
Before the era of tourism, most people were occupied with animal husbandry and alpine farming. Cheese, flavored with herbs and butter were the chief foodstuffs. They were produced in the valley and on the alp with the utmost care. Sevine cheese was well-known far across our borders.
